fat sharks are the best fpv drone goggles with included caseIf you’re serious about drone racing, then you definitely must have a set of Fat Sharks – the best FPV drone goggles. You can also use these with most consumer drones on the market today. Technically called Fat Shark, this pair of drone goggles is known as the Dominator V3 and it’s the latest in a series of drone accessories that you shouldn’t be without.

Once you move on from mini drones, and toy quadcopters, you may find yourself looking at the DJI Phantom 4 Drone Camera with it’s GPS capabilities, or you may be more interested in drone racing. Either way, you’re going to want to pick up a set of these

If you aren’t aware, drone racing is the hottest new hobby/sport, and will definitely get your adrenaline up and your blood pumping! One thing every racing drone pilot owns is a great set of fpv goggles, first person viewing.

Just to get you a bit more excited about Fat Shark Drone fpv goggles, check out this drone crash session video by Olivier Yorgandjian:

After watching that video, how can you not be instantly hooked!?! It’s time to run out and build your own racing drone or buy a pre-built model. Next, get yourself a great set of drone racing fpv goggles. I recommend the Fat Shark Drone Dominator V3.

The FatShark Dominator V3 is the latest fpv drone goggles in the Dominator series. These allow you to essentially see what your drone sees as it’s racing through the skies using a wireless transmitter that connects between the fpv goggles and your quadcopter drone.

With these fpv goggles, you get HDMI connectivity with 720p support, on a cinematic 16:9 screen.

Whether or not you need NTSC (USA) or PAL format, you can not only see what your drone sees, you can also save the video to internal Micro SD cards for drones and play it back on your tv. Be sure to note that the maximum capacity the FatSharks can handle is 32GB.

In order to receive the video downlink, you will need a receiver module on the drone which is available in 1.3GHz, 2.4GHz, or 5.8GHz options. Please note that Fat Shark only guarantees compatibility with NexwaveRF modules from Fat Shark for ImmersionRC.

If you want the most immersive experience, try the optional 3-Axis Trinity Head Tracker module. Although, I must admit, I haven’t tried this but have read great things.

The head tracker gives you the freedom to control pan, tilt, and roll of your aircraft-mounted FPV camera using the motion of your head.

It is compatible with many consumer and professional drones on the market today. You may need to purchase the NexwaveRF modules from Fat Shark, but other drones already have RF modules built in.

To use the Fat Sharks with the DJI Phantom 3 or 4, you will need an HDMI module to convert the feed from 4:3 to 16:9. Otherwise, the view will be stretched.
